Beyoncé is one of the greatest artist of our time.

I’m totally blown away by Beyoncé’s genius to juggle two incredible projects at the same time. “Renaissance” was a standout all on its own, celebrating the roots of voguing, house, and disco music. It was like a throwback to the clubs of the 70’s and 80’s, and it really lifted up the LGBTQ community. A masterpiece, on its on really. But then, she was also working on “Cowboy Carter” without us having a clue. And it’s not just about the music—it’s a magnificent piece of art. It’s her clapback to the unfair treatment she got at the CMAs, where she was booed, turning that pain into this amazing collaborative piece.

The fact that she was working on these two(possibly 3 with Act 3 being rumored to be a Rock album) massive projects at the same time is mind-blowing. There’s so much to unpack here, from using art to talk back to racism, to creating a space where everyone belongs. Beyoncé really thought this through, planning every detail while also being a mom to three kids.

Not to mention that she brought out the heavy hitters on this. And she redid Jolene!! There will be millions of convert to country music- including me. Blackbird and Jolene are masterful covers.

Whether you like her music or not, no else has managed to cross genres, make political statements, honor communities, get back at your partner 🍋and protest against injustice through music in the way that she has. Who else is in her league… no one.

She deserves all the praise for being the greatest artist of our time. Seriously, fight me on that.
